==== Serial connector ====
DNS-300 has soldered 5 pin COM-TTL connector (JP1) like DSL-G604T. To use it with PC you need a RS-232 <-> TTL adapter.\\
I've used schema from McMCC site: http://mcmcc.bat.ru/dlinkt/data-cable/scheme.jpg\\
{{mcmcc_serial_scheme.jpg?200|Local copy}}
{{dns-300_serial_connector.jpg?200|Serial Connector}}\\
I've disconnected pin 1 from RS-232 on this scheme to use it under WinXP HyperTerminal.
Also you can use USB to serial cable described here: [[:howto:use USB with Serial Console]]
**Serial settings:** 19200, 8 bit, no parity, no hardware sync.
==== JTAG ====
It seems DNS-300 has unsoldered 20 pin JTAG (JP6) on board.
Info about this JTAG connector can be found here: http://hri.sourceforge.net/tools/jtag_faq_org.html#_Toc63218717
JTAG on DNS-300 has incorrect pins numbers than in JTAG FAQ
